The thing is, if someone tells you they don't love you like before and they want to see others... then they DON'T have the right to hang out with you anymore. It doesn't matter if she feels bad or still wants your attention. Sounds like she's playing you. She wants to date others but still wants to keep you around for when things don't work out with someone else. Then, she might come back to you... for a while... but will probably do the exact same thing when she wants to go out with someone else again.

What you need to do is tell her that if she doesn't want to go out with you that you need a break from her friendship, too. Tell her you are not totally ending things with her but since she initiated this she should understand you wanting to move on LIKE SHE ALREADY HAS. Tell her you two may be friends again at some point, but you're not making any promises.

Then find someone else. Someone who will treat you WELL. Not someone who will play with your emotions.

If she wants to get back together - be cautious. But walk away from her now so you can get some distance and see that it's the right thing.
