I'm in a wonderful relationship with a 57 year old man,who doesn't look it at all! I'm 41. I thought for a bit about our age difference, but after talking to freinds about it,they (for the most part) said as long as you two care and love each other, it should not matter. We have everything from music,(I love stuff from the 40's-60's), religious viewpoints,morals,same weird sense of humour,and to a certain extent, goals. We differ a bit on being succesful as for as a job goes. I like someone who's a bit of a go-getter,he's a bit more laid back, but when it comes to his music, he puts out all the stops. He's a professional musician at night, has a ok day job at a musical instrument distribution plant. We also live in different states,me in California,he's in Ohio! We met when a freind and I went to Vegas last Sept. He was playing with a group and all three of us hit it off. I was with another guy who's like a best freind to me but we all got along GREAST! And still do. Had some issues with being so apart from each other,LDR's are tough! I'm gonna fly out to Ohio and see him this summer, meet some of his family. He already has two sons who are cloer to my age,36 and 37. He's been divorced since 1980, was married 10 years. Still is freinds with the ex, but marriage just didn't work out. We are taking it slow. But he's one of the most caring, loving and considerate guys I have ever met! I say go for it!
