I definitely do NOT think you are crazy. We love who we love. People fall for each other for different reasons. Once upon a time I also went out with a guy much older than me and we had a great relationship for many years. Eventually, tho, we grew apart because we had different objectives. I wanted to get married and have children and he had already done those things. Besides that, we realized we were better off friends than anything else, and parted ways.

I think that relationships with large age differences can work, but it really depends on what you both want out of life and how much you have in common. Age is just one factor. Studies show that the couples who do the best also share religious views, sense of humor, and outlook on life.

So if this guy treats you well and you feel loved and respected - enjoy it! If your friends are really your friends they will understand. What's important is what you think.
