» Cherie Burbach - Have you ever googled your date? I've never done it, but apparently googling your date has become quite a popular thing to do, especially with those in the online dating world. What do you think? Have you ever googled the name of a date before you met him or her? » 1eyeopen1eyeclos - Have you ever googled your date? In response to Have you ever googled your date? posted by CherieBurbach:
I googled my now boyfriend before our first date. Thank God I already knew he was divorced. His ex-wife's photography site came up. It was and still is painful for me to keep myself from looking through the pictures of his ex-wife and their daughter. I wish I didn't know about the website. Honestly, googling your date won't reveal anything major. You'd have to actually pay for a background check to get any crazy information on your date....and to pay for information on your date makes you the crazy fool. Avoid googling your dates if you can. It's very invasive. The information you find will only make you jealous. Give your date the opportunity to allow you to be privy to personal information on his or her own terms, not on Google's. -- posted by 1eyeopen1eyeclos
