Do we need to "study" dating?

What didn't work? What did we learn from the other person about what we want and more importantly, what we need in life and in a partner? But aside from this, can and should we study dating like we study other topics in academics and business? I've been thinking on this more seriously recently. A book called "The Five Love Languages" was suggested to me in the past month by a professional colleague, and when I went in search of it at the bookstore, I found the more recently published, "The Five Love Languages for Singles." I've begun reading this excitedly and intend to write some upcoming articles on this topic because to me it's very interesting and something we should all learn and think more about. Have a great week!
