What does a show like Desperate Housewives teach us about dating?

With the big two-hour finale of the popular ABC show on tonight, I think about what we can learn about dating and relationships from this show!

This show touches on so many dating facets, including: dating after divorce (think Susan), dating an ex again (again think Susan . . . & Karl), keeping the excitement in a marriage or mature relationship (think Lynette), infidelity (Gabrielle!) and dating someone much much younger, and finally look at Bree and her children! Her son is in a homosexual relationship and her daughter an interracial relationship. Then look at their Mom! Her husband (Rex) cheated on her, they were in relationship counseling, and then he died. In the past season she has been engaged again (crazy George!), her fiance passes, and she has also dated someone in Alcoholics Anonymous, and Sex Addicts Anonymous.

As I said, this show indeed covers it all!
