Things to Do in the Fall Months

The fall weather begins a fun time for couples, as football games, nature walks, and pumpkin picking comes into vogue.

October is a wonderful month to bond with your mate. Couples that have been together for years can rekindle their romance with some of the following activities. For those that have just met? These ideas offer a wonderful way to get to know one another.

Enjoy the Autumn Weather

Cool weather is the best time to get out and take a hike. The Autumn weather can inspire a walker like nothing else. In fact, any time spent in the woods this time of year can bond a couple together. What better time to view nature in all her goodness than in October?

Cool weather picnics can be a fun way to spend an afternoon if planned correctly. Make sure to pack a mug with a warm beverage, some soup, and a fall-inspired dessert like apple pie. Dress warm and bring lots of blankets. Then snuggle up while you listen to the leaves rustle. Or, eat dinner outside in front of a bonfire.

Farmers markets are all over during the month of October. Stop at one in the morning and make up a lunch or dinner with the ingredients you purchased. They are a great place to purchase flowers, vegetables, and even home-baked desserts.

Many couples enjoy a variety of football-related activities on a date. Going to a game, playing touch football, or time spent competing on the computer can be a good way to spend a date.

Celebrate Halloween

There's no better way to get in touch with your childish side than by engaging in some fun Halloween dates with your mate. Think creativity to come up a great costume idea, or just enjoy giving out candy together.

Pumpkin picking is also another way to enjoy time together. Why not make a day of it! Visit a local pumpkin farm, choose just the right one, and spend the afternoon carving it. Don't forget to save the seeds! They make a wonderful snack for later in the night.

Apple Orchards are also popular during October. Visit one of the many apple stands or orchards that are open this month. Choose some cider and snacks, or even pick a few apples. Then, work together making a pie or cobbler. Put on music, a fire, and snuggle up while you talk about your day.

Appreciate the Colors of Autumn

Taking in the beauty of nature can be a wonderful way to spend a date. It will make daters grateful for a great afternoon and the company of someone special. October is the prime month for running through leaves. Who says only kids are able to do this? Raking and running through leaves is a fun way for couples to spend some time. Anything that gets both partners laughing usually means a light-hearted and joyful day.

Let the cool October weather inspire an awesome date. With a little imagination, this month can be a great way to meet someone new and quickly become close. These activity ideas are a good place to begin.
