These days Halloween has become a popular holiday with people. It's also a good time for daters to have some fun.

But movies and Halloween parties aren't the only thing a couple can do on October 31st to have some fun. Here are a few ideas to set the perfect mood for Halloween.

Shopping for Costumes

Visit the local costume or party store well in advance of Halloween to get ideas. Singles often go as fictional couples, such as Napoleon and Josephine, Fred and Wilma Flintstone, or even Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. This year anything vampire is in, so study up on the Twilight films or True Blood HBO series for inspiration.

Making Costumes Together

Buying costumes is always an option, but creative singles could also make their get up from scratch. Often a little imagination is all that is needed to create a one of a kind costume. Best of all, couples will be able to bond while coming up with ideas and crafting their outfits. When two people work on a project together, they naturally get closer and share memories from their past.
