The poem finds the narrator dreaming as he passes through a beautiful landscape and a dark temple to the bright sunlight. Mother Nature watches over a large block of bird gathered to choose their mates. The birds have a parliamentary debate while three male eagles try to seduce a female.
Chaucer’s Middle English poetry may be a bit of tough model to follow. Instead, use his inspiration of using words of love to express yourself.
